About My Story

Burdock Balance Soap is suitable for those struggling with acne. The different herbal powders in it, thyme leaves, burdock root powder, gromwell root powder, nettles powder, and peppermint leaves powder can help soothe acne and nourish the skin. Note that this is also perfectly okay to use on normal skin. We keep our soaps as natural as possible using only skin-nourishing oils and essential oils. They are also an eco-friendly alternative because they are biodegradable and don't pollute our water. Most importantly, they are all homemade in small batches.

A Bit About My Scent

This unique scent of earthy and medicinal aroma comes from the blend of neem oil, peppermint, and tea tree essential oils. The herbaceous scent from neem oil is balanced out with the woodsy and invigorating scent of tea tree and peppermint to leave your face refreshed and purified after every face wash.

Care Instructions: Store it in a cool, dry & dark area till ready for use. Use within 6-9 months as it contains no preservatives. Use a soap dish or a net to hold it to increase longevity. Keep it dry between uses.

Direction: Wet the bar soap with water and rub your hands around it to create a lather. Apply the lather to your face the way you would normally wash your face, and rinse off with water when you're done!

For the selection of normal packaging, one can expect to receive the soaps cushioned by any of the above upcycled materials. We strive to reuse whenever possible and it would be great if you could join us on this journey to minimize waste and carbon footprint.

Gentle Reminder

1. Do check the ingredients before using as some may be sensitive to a certain type of essential oils.
2. These are all handmade natural soap bars and no two are the same. Please understand that these bars are colored with natural colorants and they may/may not fade with time. You may receive darker/lighter colors than what you see in the photographs.
3. Some of the essential oil scents will fade but you will notice the scent returning once you start using the bars.
