About My Story

Ethically and sustainably sourced 100% natural loofah sponge harvested in Johor Bahru. These sponges are a great help in exfoliating the body or for general household cleaning. By purchasing this loofah, you are supporting local growers and their work. These are carefully harvested, cleaned, dried, and stored, every step done with meticulous care. The loofahs are naturally light brown and NOT bleached.

Product Details

Material: Pure Loofah

Measurement: 20-24cm, 25-29cm, 30-34cm (Approx)

Care Instructions: Hang to dry completely between uses. Replace every 1 month for optimal hygiene and exfoliation, or sooner if it shows signs of wear.

Directions: Wet thoroughly to soften. Apply Soapan Santun’s soap directly onto the loofah to create a lather. Apply gentle force for the first few uses if you use it on your skin to prevent microcuts. Rinse well after each use.

Packaging

For packaging, one can expect to receive the loofah in reused parcel envelopes, cushioned by any of the above upcycled materials. We strive to reuse whenever possible, and it would be great if you could join us on this journey to minimize waste and carbon footprint.

Disclaimer

Every loofah is different. You may receive one that is darker or lighter, thinner or thicker. Some loofahs may have blemishes, but it will be purely aesthetic and do not affect use.

Every loofah comes with seeds in it; they are harmless and will fall off gradually as you use it. You can also shake it upon receiving to release the seeds before using.

Shipping may cause the loofahs to arrive flatter if they are compressed or squeezed during delivery, but they should expand again once soaked in water.
